Norberto Gomez Jr.
Norberto Gomez, Jr. is a media archaeologist, digital demonologist and artist based in Baltimore, Maryland who writes about death and technology, as well as aesthetics and horror.
Gomez received a PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University where he studied digital culture and the Perl programming language. He also received an MFA in painting and drawing from the University of Houston. Gomez is the co-founder and editor of Sybil Press, a small print press specializing in handmade artist books, works of theory, and other experiments where he selfpublished The Book of Cannibals--a grimoire for the contemporary artist and consumer. Gomez currently contributes online to Blumhouse, Cvlt Nation, and Digital America and has written for Fangoria Magazine. Gomez's artwork has been exhibited most recently at Little Berlin (Philadelphia), (e)merge (D.C.), and C.I.C.A. Museum (South Korea).
