Lexie Stoia
Lexie Stoia makes multi-sensory works connecting her interests in science fiction and utopian ideas about living. She teaches at Columbus College of Art & Design and also builds interactive exhibits for science centers and museums around the world.
Lexie received a BA in Music/Audio Recording Technology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and MFA in Visual Arts from Columbus College of Art & Design. In between, she spent time in the audio engineering program at the Banff Centre for the Arts in the Canadian Rockies and working in sustainable agriculture. Her work has been shown throughout the country, including at The Wexner Center for the Arts (OH), Microscope Gallery (NY), SPACES (OH), and Megapolis Audio Festival (PA).
She is currently investigating how electricity can be used to connect to the spirit world and is based in Columbus, Ohio.
