Justin Lincoln is an experimental artist and educator working at Whitman College in the NorthWest of the United States. His moving image work draws on a long history of the literary, musical and visual avant-garde. Recent projects draw connections between Structural Film of the 60s and 70s & contemporary digital culture. Currently he is exploring flows, speeds, and fades of text on screens and how our visual scanning transfers from digital to analog environments. Justin is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Cal Arts.  Justin has been an Artist in Residence at the Experimental Television Center, Squeaky Wheel, and Columbus University.
