Bonnie Crawford
Baltimore-based artist Bonnie Crawford became interested in using electrical circuitry as an art material when a problem with the electrical tissue in her own heart required surgery. She received an MFA from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a BA in Studio Art from the University of Maryland College Park. She was awarded a prize in the 2015 Juried Exhibition at Terrault Gallery in Baltimore, MD. Recent solo exhibitions include “Lying Next to a Hammer in Bed” at Montpelier Arts Center, Laurel, MD and “Versions” at Hillyer Art Space, Washington, DC. She was included in the two-person exhibition “Adapt/Adorn” with Amy Boone-McCreesh at Cody Gallery at Marymount University, Arlington, VA.
